OT - DPC_Watchdog violation

I could scream because I can't fix this.  Two to three times a day my computer freezes up and restarts.  It tells me that it's a DPC_Watchdog violation.  I was almost done with a game and it crashed.  After opening it again it sent me all the way back to the beginning.  So frustrating.

I've tried turning off fast start up and also something in device manager but I didn't have the options that the solution needed you to uncheck. 

Any suggestions other than a sledgehammer to my computer?
