I seem to have glacial download speed via DIM: is this other people's experience at the moment or a local problem?

I have the same problem with DIM. I get under 30KB/s and the download usually gets interrupted/time out. Thank god DIM allows you to resume a failed download.
DAZ is the only site I have a download problem. Other digital stores are fine.
Mine is down there, which is a problem with, shall we say, a certain billboard update; I agree the download resume is a blessing, as otherwise nothing would ever get here. I'm in the UK, so the sea may be choppy.
DIM downloads have been really slow and prone to drop out lately here, too. i even reset my wireless settings yesterday to try to alleviate the dropped connection problem a little...
and yeah, that billboard update was a killer for days. i finally wound up leaving it off my DIM list until i got everything else downloaded. still took about eight DIM restarts and resumes before the download wrapped up.
