Characters with M8

OK, with M6 and M7 when an official character comes out (darius, gianni, leo, etc), the figure has a separate UV. But with m8, I bought Owen and he seems to use the base uv for M8. Is that true of all M8 characters? I'm totally cool with that, and actually prefer it since it means that he can use any M8 or M7 character. I am just wondering if this is specific to Owen. I bought him for the morph (and because the pro bundle enabled me to get several other bundles so it was a lot of new toys for very little money). I have Michael 8 so I guess I can test it and see. But that makes me a bit more interested in the M8 official characters.

    DAZ seems to have decided to drop the individual UVs it had given its own base characters in Genesis 1-3. I am pretty sure all of its characters and those of PAs now use the base UVs only (which are the same UVs as those used in base male/female for Genesis 3).

    I guess if something extreme comes along like a centaur or a minotaur these are likely to have their own UVs, but hopefully all human characters will continue to use the base UVs.

    First the Michaels have not been the base figures since generation 4.  Second it looks like the complaints about the unique UVs for every character got through to DAZ.

    I'm pleased for the change. I can see a different UV for Minotaur but not between Michael and the new guy.
