Bryce conversion issues

I have used Bryce for years and just never focused on exporting so maybe I self taught myself wrong. Here is my issue.

I create all my designs using the standard "cylinder, box, etc." and go from there. It works great for my needs, but now I need to get a design to someone in a non Bryce format. I assume I need to convert my stuff into an obj file format but if I import it into the Objects area I still cannot export it in any file besides an obp.

What am I doing wrong? What do i need to do to get anything to export. This should not be this hard.

are you using the export command from the drop down menu at the left hand side of the screen?  Click on file in the top left corner and then on Export Object.  you have several options there.

I thought so as well, but it is greyed out.
