Figure Type

Is there an easy way to know if a figure is a Gen 3 or a Gen 8?    The same for the Gen 2 figures?

Unless they have been renamed, most characters keep the "Genesis..." in the scene tab as character name. Of the official line, anything that has a 6 behind it is G2 (Michael 6), anything with a 7 behind it is G3, aand 8 represents G8.

G2 has no facial expression bones. G3 and 8 both have, but G3 has a heel bone, which isn't present in G8.
