How did a product named RealDoll get approved? I'm practically dead laughing. Not even Real Doll with a space, straight up RealDoll. Oh my god.

OMG?
that is probably one of the expressions
Actually, if you visit the PA's store you will see that the lack of space in the title is part of the PA's product naming convention. Another example https://www.daz3d.com/realdevil-expressions-for-genesis-8-male-s. If that is how they choose to present it then it is up to them. It is a product name, so spacing isn't really required if they choose not to have any.
I laughed hysterically when i saw this also, but there is a good chance that the vendor nor Daz QA/Marketing know that its used for that sort of thing lol
My objection is not about grammar but about the fact that without spaces this is the exact equivalent of naming a product "Dildo Expressions."
Judging by Zev0's response, yeah there's a blind spot there. LOL
Only us pervs laughed because we are the only ones that knew of the other product with that name.
there's a comedy movie called Lars and the real girl, just look up the trailer on youtube for that if you don't wanna look up the um product which has gotten pretty real now days they even have conversations with you now
Pervs are those who just heard about them on the net, but once you can afford one - you get respectful nod and enter their vip club.
I know what it is and I don't even render/view that sort of thing. LOL. Maybe the vendor could rethink the title? Of course, in the scheme of things, who cares? Although, if someone were to go searching for that vendor's item on Google by name, they might not care for the results that come up o.O.

Considering the kind of work we do you really think that that's pervy? I mean, I find them amazing more than sexual.
Every render I do I somehow end up staring at a genital texture, I really don't think a RealDoll is that exciting.. plus sometimes I have to venture on to certain sites to find things I want and WOW that is an eye opener.
Well, there was the time Rush Limbaugh brought his onto his show and simulated sex with it.
And the articles in "Salon", "The New York Times", "Metro", and on CNET.
And the Family Guy episode.
And the movie that ANGELREAPER1972 mentioned, plus the movie "Love Object".
But aside from that, yeah, no one ever heard of the things.
of course it could all be innocent and is just referring to the old sayings "she's a doll" "you're a doll" "be a doll and -" "she's a real doll" basicly referring to her being cute/sweet or innocent
but of course it is more fun thinking about the Real Dolls ;)
I dont think most of us believe they named it that intentionally, just that they didnt know what RealDolls were but it is quite amusing lol
still fun though and they did do some pretty nice expressions/promos
do the expressions work on g3?
I actually find the "Biometric Expressions" package to be more offensive than "RealDoll". Biometic means something, and that package ain't it.
