Forum redirection on logout/login

please fix this! if i visit a thread after a few days, it should not log me out and then dump me on the forum front page! at the very least it should log me out and then put me back at the thread i wanted to visit!

    I assume that you went to the thread from an ebot notification of new posts?

    If you open the site and log in first that won't happen.

    I agree there is a problem and for me, it just started in the last few weeks. Before that i could go to the forum bookmark or the shop bookmark and never had a login/logout issue. Now whenever I go thru the forum bookmark I have, it logs me out then logs me in, nearly every time.

    going to the site first is not a great option as it loads really slow and takes forever to get the forums which is why I created a forum bookmark in the first place.

    The problem with having a forum book mark and a shop bookmark is that forum and store are driven by 2 different softwares.  By logging in on the front page you do get a reliable login to both parts of the site as they sync better if done that way.
