Does this product include lighting?

Does anyone know if this product includes lighting?  I am assuming that the .duf scene includes the arrangement of the props. (complete scene load)

Any info is appreciated.

I can't say for sure, but this is for Iray so the prop lights are almost certainly emissive, it wouldn't make sense to do anything else.

Actually it says 'optimised for Iray' which in my experience tends to mean that the mats are not Iray but apparently it will look good in Iray.

Can't be certain, but the untextured views show the lights emitting ... well, light, so it would seem to be safe to assume that they're set up as emissives. I've got another item by that vendor, and the lights are all emissives.

From the look of the file list and judging from the other item I have from that vendor, the room itself is one piece with unrigged walls (except for the door), with separate props for the stuff inside. The main DUF for the room will include the props in that arrangement; it also comes with a way to zero the props -- or put them into the scene in the center of the workspace.

  • Yes, it has lights via emissive surfaces (and those at least are using the Iray Uber shader, it's rendering a quick test so I can't check other surfaces)..
