Everything's all messed up

I somehow messed up the main-viewport, I tried to fix it by making it undockable, and it looked all messed up so I closed it and it's all messed up.  Even though I got it docked up I have three viewport windows that I cannot reset to normal?  Isn't there some kind of BIG RESET BUTTON?

  • I'm no sure what you mean by 3 viewport wndows, but suspect you may have it split into several sub-views - Window>Viewports>Single View will restore that without afecting anything else.

Window>Workspace>Select layout is the way to go back to the original state completely.

Making a pane undockable stops it from being docked, so I suspect that was the opposite of what you wanted.

    Richard Haseltine,

I got it close to normal: I have the single image back like before, but I cannot see the Install/Products window at the same time as the viewport window.

BTW: I actually attempted to delete the software and re-download (everything was exactly as it was before --

  • Uninstalling/deleting won't remove settings (which thelayout is). Reloading the Workspace (Window>Workspace>Select Layout) will restore the opening state, or allow you to use one of the other settings, and if then customise it you can save your workspace as a hedge against future rearrangements.
