Not to hijack the main subject of the thread, but ... does anyone know what morph Linday used of Michael 8? He certainly doesn't look like my generic Michael 8!

He reminds me so much of Henry Cavill.

How did he get his skin wet, and yet manage to keep his shorts bone dry?

I know. But I didn't have a wet shader for his shorts and no idea how to make one right now ;)

Used the beach/ocean set INCLUDED with the dForce Wet Baby Doll to see how the wet shell looked on darker skin (Darius 8). As I was setting up this render, the 80's song, I Ran, started playing in my head (which I thought was strange since I hadn't thought of it for years), but it was persistent enough for me to notice and ask, "What band did that?" A Flock of Seagulls. That's when I remembered I had this product, and I stopped the render and put them in. Listen, and you will hear.

Is the custom wet shader included in any package or released for sale? Thanks for your excellent products.

CloseUp obviously needs less light and some tweaking. I'm still unable to do G8 eyes satisfactorily.

Well, I surprised myself and managed to get a geometry shell to work in Octane surprise   It's not a great image, but I was too excited that I'd worked it out on my own.

I've never been disappointed in a Linday product.

  • I just tried using the geoshells on a figure with a G8F gens and it makes then gens completely white. I tried applying the special gen geoshell to the figure, and next the gens, and neither worked. Any ideas?

I will say the hair itself is worth the purchase, and I picked up Linday's Syble hair that's also great.

The quick answer is that you should see two geoshells called "wet hair gens"; one is for male characters and the other is for female characters... in my Smart Content, the female one is the last one in the row but, since there are only two, if you pick the wrong one, it is easy to delete the geoshell and apply the other one.

Awesome, I just bought the Baby doll oufit. Can't figure out how to get the wet skin to work., it's shiny , yet you can't see the drips and drops on the skin. weird.

Ah, my guess is that it is the lighting... try a nice diffuse HDRI.... the drops are like mirrors.. they need something to reflect..

Thanks, but what I was doing wrong was loading both the body AND gens shells onto the same figure. So in case it helps anyone else out, you pick ONE of the geoshell options per figure. But you probably already knew that!

  • Hello!

I'm very sorry for digging the old post, but I have an issue with this product and I don't know where else I can ask about it...

After applying geoshel to the body small 'hairs' or 'fireflies' appears. Here are the pics with a lot of light, and with less amount:

    <a href="https://imgbb.com/"><img src="https://i.ibb.co/pyh523f/8-b1.png"; alt="8-b1" border="0"></a>
    <a href="https://imgbb.com/"><img src="https://i.ibb.co/qy2zZXf/8-b2.png"; alt="8-b2" border="0"></a>

What can it be? How can I get rid of this?

  • hi I cant seem to work gen shells work. body is ok but gens are always white?
