    Greetings,

I really like The Sentry (http://www.daz3d.com/the-sentry). It works pretty good on Genesis. I've never used all of it (or any other skimpwear) at one time on a single figure, but the items are really useful for kit-bashing.

It also has my favorite skimpwear flavor text ever:
After all, full-coverage armor is really only for those who don't know how to fight.

I'm halfway tempted to buy it for my Genesis guys. I can do my own package morphs easily enough now.

Wait ... you can do package morphs for THAT? Ooooo ... Now I'm really tempted. I was considering buying it for the same reason that you were, and now I want to see how you manage to put package morphs into something that's not actually big enough to hold a package. So to speak. (Seriously, any sort of anatomical male human adult wore the panty on that thing, and June would be bustin' out all over if you know what I mean.)

even if that didn't work, there are several half-decent bulge morphs for Genesis that it would auto-conform to.

Speaking of the male skimpywear, I always liked Dark Paladins for Freak 3. Even made a Genesis refit for a skirt :)
Another thing I really liked was Giant Slayer from PoserPros (I think it was a name), gladiator-like outfit similar to Ad Gladio.

I know what you mean. What's up with that? Do I always have to dress like a man or what? I just want to be pretty, oh so pretty! :-)

Well, I haven't looked at its specific geometry, but this is an AlfaSeed product. You can firmly depend on them to have 1. geometry that's appropriately fused and thus Genesis-friendly and 2. very high poly counts. Very high poly counts are pretty useful to a supermorpher.

If it has enough polygons (and being Alfa Seed's, its very probable), you can sculpt a bulge on it with enough patience to keep the metallic pieces from deforming too. I've done it before with similar outfits.
If someone is interested, gift it to me and I'll do the morphs for it. %-P

Now, my favorite piece skimpwear has to be the M4 mankini. It was fun as it was cheap, I even did a custom morph for the Freak 4 to put it on poor Vincent.

I think DZheng has a Genesis one, too. The mankini with the shoulder straps isn't my favorite male undergarment, but he also does quite a few other ones, and he always does tons of morphs.

I don't use a lot of skimpwear as-is, but I do use a lot of it for kitbashing and constructing layered outfits. The ease of doing that is one of the things I love about Genesis.

I used pieces from Steampunk Wilde and Artemis X combined with other sets for this outfit. and combined the Genesis Supersuit with SciFi Candy for this look.

...It autofitted to my favourite custom Genesis shape very well - well pleased with it.

When I use skimpwear (mainly for pinup type stuff), I'll usually try this one first:

    http://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/index.php?ViewProduct=92085

I just need to find a way to fit it to M4... :red: :red:

CrossDresser would work or you can use V4 Male, it has the morph for that. Would probably work on a Genesis morphed to M4 if you have one of those around and Studio for the Autofit, though I dunno about the boots. I never can get sexy heels made for the Gen4 ladies to come out looking right whenever I try fitting them to Genesis.

Not quite certain how you could add a bulge morph to that outfit though

Yes, I often wear one myself. LOL

Seriously, if you know where I can buy one in Women's Plus sizes, I want it. For conventions.

Leave it to Xurge. If he decides to make a leather bustier, it will be the best-looking leather bustier you've ever seen.

Some of my favorite bits and pieces of skimpwear are below. For anyone interested, I've also included links to renders where the sets identified were used.

I don't know how well they would work with M4/M5 - not sure I'd really want to know either

Vixen Knights - A true general skimp wear must have, has a great pair of heels and works well with G4 and Genesis (except for the shoes with Genesis)
    Product:
    http://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/vixen-nights-for-v4-a4-g4-elite/72027
    Used in Render (nudity):
    http://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/index.php?image_id=2005137

Of course for your Futuristic Fantasy runtime you can't forget Novariens Holly from Orion1167 (or any of the other great skimp wear from Orion1167):
    Product:
    http://www.daz3d.com/novariens-holy-for-v4
Used in Render with different mats (nudity):
    http://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/index.php?image_id=2027570
    http://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/index.php?image_id=2030152

No true skimp wear steampunk runtime is complete without the ultra versatile and awesome Aptero-Bunble from BadKittehCo (also great with G4, V4, and converts well to Genesis).
    Product:
    http://www.runtimedna.com/Apteromata-Bundle.html
    Used in Render (nudity):
    http://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/index.php?image_id=2149608 (right figure)
    http://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/index.php?image_id=2260952 (middle figure)

Of course, the beauty of skimp wear, especially fantasy skimpwear, is the ability to mix and match and kit bash between different sets. Anarchy (http://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/index.php?ViewProduct=89609) is one of my favorites to use with other sets like Suranian Priestess (http://www.daz3d.com/suranian-priestess) and Daroana (http://www.daz3d.com/darona).
    Used in Render:
    http://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/index.php?image_id=2305660
    or (nudity)
    http://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/index.php?image_id=2296256

For those who need the skimpiest of skimp wear for their fantasy renders, the accessories that come with Tanya are pretty hard to beat!!
Warning - not office friendly!! http://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/index.php?ViewProduct=62798&vendor=Rhiannon)
    Render (modest nudity):
    http://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/index.php?image_id=2434136

I'm just amazed to see a thread for skimpwear rather than complaining about it :ohh:

One of the best things about many pieces of skimpwear is that fitting it without poke through can often be quite easy (cause there's not much there to poke through).

Back to the crop jacket, I'm kind of liking the Spring Breeze Jacket (from Pretty3d at Renderosity) with a leather texture. If you want some examples look at RRward's work at Renderotica or Deviantart.

She tried putting a panty girdle on her cat, but the little furball would have nothing to do with it. ;)
