Version compatibility

Hi, would the Michael 4 Long Beard work on Genesis Michael 5? I'm still not clear if older versions can be used. I'm looking for a product like the Beard for M5. Is there anything available?

    It won't fit automatically on M5's head. Well the Autofit will probably try, but I wouldn't bet on it doing a good job. Try just loading the beard, then parent it to M5's head instead of trying to fit it. You might need to play around a bit with positioning, scaling and the face fit morphs, but you should be able to at least get close.

    I've used it on Genesis without much difficulty. Not sure about M5 in particular...let me give it a try...

    Actually AutoFit works quite well. I just told AutoFit it was long hair made for M4. Only issue I can see is that the beard won't move with the face (for instance, if M5's mouth opens). I've seen that problem with beards made for Genesis too.

    That autofit actually looks surprisingly good. Have to give it a go myself at the weekend, when I've time to play around a bit.

    I use the UnShaven for Genesis and find it very good. It's not as LONG as Long Beard but it works on Genesis the best for me. I also like the extra shaping options it has.
