I'll bet she made it.  It looks a little like one of the dresses from her V4 Elegance 3 set at Renderosity, but with the geometry maybe adapted to work with dForce?  She's an amazing dynamic clothing designer.

Yes! I don't buy a lot of dresses from the store as I make my own in MD, but this is gorgeous... I'd love to get it.

    Thank you :)

  • Hi everyone! :) Sorry for not noticing the tread - I tend to be a bit "form blind" :)

The dress is indeed by me, one of my MD experiments and it is not released anywhere yet. Since there is an interest in it I'll see if it can work with dForce in a satisfactory maner - it is a very high polygonal, high dencity model and I'm not certain that dForce can handle it yet, but I'll see what I can come up with :)

I like this dress. It is simple yet elegant. I could see texture pack dlcs (or whatever the correct term is) using the satin material in pastels, then one using hard color, black/navy/red/etc using glitter instead of satin. I can see an add-on short sleeved cape. I see headresses... I see bridal couture released in May... Stop with making my imagination run wild! It lts a beautiful dress with potential. I hope it comes to realization.
  • Do let us know. Beautiful dress! I'd buy it.

Count me in as a potential buyer, and I am sure a lot of people would buy it as well, whether you make it work with dForce or not laugh

  • I'm also interested in buying it, especially if it's G3F.

  • This might be an instant buy for me. It's gorgeous and far beyond what I could model for myself.

I would like to know whether @Sshodan was trying to address the subject of this topic with today's release of Femme Fatale laugh

I wish it could work without Dforce though

Why? The dynamic draping is what gives it it's look

I know but I can't get dforce to work on my computer and I'm jealous

But, do you have an older version of DAZ Studio? Or is it just that you try to run the simulation and it starts doing weird stuff? (like exploding dresses). Because in my computer I had that problem when dForce just came about, and later I realized that it had my graphics card as its OpenCL device, which apparently was a bad idea. So I changed it to my main processor, and then it started working just fine. Not very fast, as I don't have a dedicated system for rendering, but it worked.
