Damn it... I got a new release earlier. Why didn't they make that offer live when the new products, themselves, did?
It doesn' have to be one of todays new releases or even a featured new release. Any release with a green new tag seems to work.
Yeah, but I don't need to get anything else, today. :/
Including todays Free Item
Not anymore
It's always a difficult choice, keep quiet and (maybe) the offer stays but nobody knows about it or post about it so more people get to know about it but if it turns out to be unintentional it gets fixed.
.
...ugh, never liked those buy a New Release to get a discount sale.
Yep, I know.
The double-asterix was also added sometime earlier today too. Ah well, it wasn't a big deal for me since I pretty much have everything that I need for the foreseeable future, hahaha. :)
New stuff in fastgrab again. This seems to change every weekday now.
It really should be noted on the Dark Cyreena bundle that the included products require other products (mermaid tail)
It says this under "Details":
Requires: Mermaid Genesis and Mermaid Genesis 2 Female(s) (released Sept 3, 2013).

Buy any New Release, get 6% off Gift Cards
Banner on main page, doesn't have its own page. Marked Today Only.
It's actually "Get an extra 6% off Gift cards". So if, for example, you already have 3 punches, giving you 6% off, then you'd get 6% off 6% off, which works out to 11.64% off. If you have 5 punches, for 10% off, your discount comes to 15.4%. I don't remember ever seeing a gift card discount that large before. But of course you have to have the punches in hand, and you have to buy the new release.
Oh, I thought it was just expected that it'd stack. There was a bigger one a few days ago: 10% with an extra 10% (so 19% or whatever) assuming punches.
Seems that any (except freebies) new release triggers this one, including PC+ items.
Freebies has been updated.
..ahh but textures for stuff I don't have (as usual).
There's an outfit and some props at least. Kind of tired of the random textures though.
..must already have the outfit and props as they aren't showing.
Riae Outfit
Stellar Fury
More Deadly Edges
Playtime
Stellar Fury
...and some textures but I could have sworn they're last weeks that I didn't bother with.
..yeah, already have all those (except the textures)
New stuff in fastgrab.
Are these messages actually help to anyone? The items seem to change every weekday nowadays.
http://www.daz3d.com/rock-grass-bundle is in the fastgrab. I highly recommend it to anyone using 3DL.
(I recently poked at trying to return to 3DL and liked that bundle, but returned it because I realized I just... didn't want to use 3DL)
Hehe, just grabbed that one. :) I'm going to be in trouble if I ever decide to go over to Iray, but for now it seems pretty useful in 3Delight.
I like them. It reminds me to check the shop and I've missed quite a few things myself that have been pointed out here.
Of course you can always do hybrid renders, render the scene including the grass in 3DL, then render the scene in iRay, and combine the two using PS, gimp or the like so only the grass comes from the 3DL image. I picked up this bundle not so long ago, and I also mostly use iRay now, but it was using it in a hybrid render that made me think it could still be useful, as the grass looks so much better than a plane grass texture.
I've been using actual props for grass. That would still work well in Iray. But when it's a bigger scene, it becomes really slow. I'm hoping this grass shader will improve this. :)
It's nice to see relatively new stuff in fastgrab.
The composite approach might be good for long shots, too.
What I often do is use a texture for medium and long range, and then fill in with models closer up.
I recently got http://www.daz3d.com/g3d-da-grass-and-plant-pack and have only barely scratched the surface, but being able to lay large plots of grass in the foreground has made a huge difference. It's in the top tier of 'useful for lots of renders' in my product library already.
