...being a mobile CPU this will be nice for gaming notebooks but not for 3D work unless you use LuxRender or AMDs Pro Render.

It sounds like the target market for this product is where the GTX 1050 and 1050 ti notebooks are sitting.
Right where most of the big box OEM "gaming" laptops high performance ultrabooks sit.

It will be very interesting to see how Nvidia reacts to this (or if they even see this as a threat).
Maybe within the next year we will start seeing Ryzen notebooks with Nvidia GPUs (probably just wishfull thinking)

My thoughts as well especially after Intel were bagging AMD's Threadripper..  And will be interesting to see how Nvidia react to this, what is more interesting how Intelis supposed to have 70% of the GPU market as well with their GPU's..

Because all modern intel CPUs come with an integrated graphics core...  They can legitemately claim this to be true.  What they fail to point olut is that any gaming Desktop/Notebook with an Intel CPU also has a Dedicated Nvidia or AMD GPU installed.
That 70% number includes all of the budget throw away $300 when new computers that get used for web browsing and checking email and watching netflix.
