How do I enable basic keyboard shortcuts?

It must be something I accidentally disabled (somehow!) but I can no longer access basic keyboard shortcuts, such as Save and Undo.
Very frustrating to have to make a trip to the menu just to save! lol But I can't find the Preference...
BTW: I am able to rotatee view (Ctrl+Alt) from the keyboard.

If you are using one of the default layouts, Window>Workspace>Select Layout. If you want to keep the rest of the layout, just reload your accelerators, Window>Workspace>Customise, click the Import button, and select Actions.
