How to use G2F wet skin on G3F?
Hi,
I bought Legacy UVs for G3: V6 and also Wet skin for G2F. I render in 3Delight. What I want to do is apply this Wet Skin on a skin texture made for G3F (and not a skin texture for G2F).
Can anyone tell me how to do this? All the forum topics I see here are about users trying to get a wet skin applied on V4/G2F texture transferred to G3F - which is pretty straightforward, first load V4/G2F, load the V4/G2F skin, apply the Wet Skin for V4/G2F, save as material preset, then apply the preset through the Legacy UVs product. However I'm trying to apply the Wet Skin for G2F product on a G3F skin texture, like say a skin texture that came with a character set for G3F. Any possible way to do this?
Thanks!

You can't as each surface can have only one UV set applied, you would want the Geensis 3 UVs for the skin (and to ignore the geoGraftys that patch the problem areas) and the Geensis 2 UVs for the water overlay. I can't recall if this product uses a Geometry Shell rather than overlaying onto the base maps - if it does, or can be made to work that way, one workaround might be two figures with the same shape and pose - one, using the base UVs and no grafdts, for the skin map and as econd, invisible or just move out of sight, with the Legacy UVs applied from which you generate a Geometry Shell for the overlay and position around the base figure
Is it possible to use G2F geometry shells on G3F? I see a 'Wet Skin Geo Shells for G2F' product and I wonder if it can be used through the method you described. Sorry this Geo shell subject is still very alien to me.
I also have Wet Maps for V4 that are applied through LIE, any chance they can be used on G3F through Cayman's texture converter?
As for the second, the LIE overlays, they definitely won't work - the overlay and the base texture need to be the same UVs (so, I suppose, they would work on V4 maps applied to G3F).
A Geometry Shell is just a clone of the base figure that can take different materials,. and can be offset with a Push Modifier. So you can't use a Genesis 2 shell on a Genesis 3 figure but you could use the materials on a shell from one figure, with the Cayman product, and the base skin applied to another Genesis 3 - effectively what I was tentatively suggesting above.
