New/Updated EULA?

[Product Library page keeps redirecting] To the Eula. Every single time. I'm trying to download purchases I've made previously (yesterday) and it won't load the Library page at all. It keeps loading the Eula.

Edited so the whole sentence is in the body. Edited to make title clearer for others looking for an EULA thread.

  • I'm having some website trouble.  Going from the My Account page to the product library instead takes me to the EULA agreement.  clicking through that takes me to the DAZ homepage.  Trying to get there through other means, like orders, has the same results.  Please fix this.

  • I'm having the same issue. It's also effecting DIM so I can't download the stuff I just bought. I click the checkbox and click submit but it still says that I haven't accepted the EULA. This is a fairly annoying issue...

It's just a new EULA that you need to agree to. It only happens about once a year when they make small changes.

Is it possible to simply see what has changed or is it possible to see the old EULA ?

Get me right, I've no problem to accept the new EULA, but if this affects existing/already bought content I want to know what I'm confirming here....

The EULA is at the bottom of every page on the site.

Yes, thank you, but this is already the new one, is there a link to the old EULA somewhere ?

This is what got added: "Some Content offers User the ability to purchase an add-on license for Commercial 3D Printing. The additional rights granted to User for a specific piece of Content due to the purchase of such an add-on license is outlined in the 5.0 Addendum to this Agreement."

    And the referenced 5.0 addendum.

Yes, but no matter how many times I agree it never "sticks" so I can't download my products through DIM.

I just check through My Account and then product Library and didn't have to agree again. I also checked through DIM and it was fine as well and didn't need to agree to anything.

You need to accept the new EULA

I've accepted the EULA agreement, but I keep getting sent back to the front page of the site. Then when I go to the product library, the EULA agreement appears again. I accept, then get sent back to the main page.

DIM asks me to verify my account by accepting the new EULA agreement (which I have), but I still can't get into DIM

  • I was trying to use the install manager and it asked me to verify the EUELA, I followed the link and the page was saying that I needed to be logged int to agree...

Logged in accepted the EUELA went back to install manager and it keeps asking for confirmation :/

I already accepted the EUELA online but the installer keeps telling me to go and accep them... Is this a bug? What is going on? Some people have limited time or set up schedules to use Daz and this is taking from that time...

Accept a second time. Occasionally you have to.

I've accepted multiple times. I came on the site and clicked the link at the bottom and accepted. I accepted through DIM. Closed it because the verify button said I hadn't accepted it. Reopened, accepted AGAIN. Still the verify button says I haven't. I've accepted the Eula at least five times, still DIM makes me try and tells me I haven't when I click verify.

clear cache,  clear Daz cookies do a hard refresh and try again. Rebooting the browser sometimes helps as well.  It does sound as though something has got stuck in your cache

I have tried this procedure, over 10 times, in both Edge and Chrome so it is not the browser.

That did it. I'm surprised I didn't think of that myself as it is a typical internet troubleshooting step. I did try another browser. Anyway, thanks for jogging my memory to try that. This time it didn't even ask me to accept the EULA so I guess it finally registered I'd done it in the past or something.

Why do I have to accept the terms for the End User License Agreement again? Did something change? If so, what?

  • You are expected to read and memorize each one so you know what changes each time.

    LOL

Yeah really, how about a condensed version? You know, changelog type of thing like "added line that says Elvis is dead" or "replaced all instances of "you, the end-user, may" with "you, the end-user, may not' "

    :P

Just some accidential (or not) pre-release of the commercial 3D figure print license snafu: https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/comment/2983231/#Comment_2983231

You'll probably have to reconfirm the EULA again shortly.

So what's up with this gianormous license that is blocking me from getting to my own product library?  I just purchased a cart load of stuff, and now I can't get to it unless/until I submit that I agree to their license just carte blanche.  I can't even get to my previously purchased items because this thing is blocking me until I submit.

    It just showed up today.

    What is the deal?

    Merged thread

You have to agree to the new EULA before you can download your stuff.

This conversation does tend to come up every time the EULA changes.   This time the changes are only to do with 3d printing

In the days before DIM, when we still had .exe bitrock installers, you agreed to the EULA every single time you installed a product.  Nowadays you only have to agree to it once, until the next time there is a slight change.

    do you remember these

It might be a good idea to adjust the topics title; product page redirect does not exactly makes me think of a license change
