Can some recommend some 80s or 90s cars?

I've been looking around for cars and trucks that are from the period of the 1980s or the 1990s, but so far I've only seen fairly vintage vehicles (i.e. 1930s, 1940s) or ones that are clearly 2010's (i.e.they have LCD displays on the dash) Maybe I'm not looking in the right place. Can anyone help?

These look kind of 80s to 90s to me.

But I don't know jack about cars, so I may be way off on my suggestions. lol
Also don't limit yourself to here, be sure and check ShareCG and Rendo if you can't find what you're looking for here. :)
Check here for a list of sites with free cars. Some of them are in your desired time period.

This freebie is a little newer than your time frame but the VW Golf has maintained a similar basic style over several generations, so it might be useful. I haven't found a Rabbit hatchback which would be more of the era you mentioned.
Alberto Daniel Russo has several vehicles available here but they tend to be either earlier (muscle cars) or later (2000+) eras. You need to update the shaders if you want to use them in IRay, especially for chrome and glass parts, but it's easy to do.
An older thread with tons of free vehicles listed. Most are Poser or obj files that will need some work to import and set up with proper shaders. Probably lots of dead links by now.
...be careful of some sites with freebies that are actual real brand name vehicles. Always check the licensing details before downloading. Most should say for "non comercial use only". There have been instances in the past where a model is listed as "unrestricted", but the modeller never secured a licensing agreement with the parent company for the intellectual property rights.
Keep in mind the car makers are the owners of the designs and marques, not the person who modelled them.
As long as you are not redistributing the model, you should be fine. Sharing a render of a name brand product is no different than sharing a photo you've taken of said product.
...however, using it in a published work such as an illustrated or graphic novel however could cause issues.
I'm actually mainly wanting family cars, as in Mom and Dad in the front, kids buckled up in the back.
