DAZ freezes when I try to login

in Technical Help (nuts n bolts)

Like the title says. I launch DAZ, I'm told I need to log in because the system configuration or something has changed (this happens EVERY SINGLE TIME), I hit the login button and DAZ locks up and I have to use task manager to shut it down.

    How long are you waiting? DS does have a timeout, but it takes a good minute or more to decide it can't connect. The inability to connect (if that's what is happening) and the failure to authenticate (if it's actually getting through and still giving the alert on the next session) do suggest some kind of firewall issue. In any event, you can use DS - as long as it's serialised it will work fully, you will lack only any Connect-only Encrypted content

    I've waited up to ten minutes for the program to start responding again. I can't even get to the point of entering my email and password, as soon as i go to Connect > Login it just freezes. I know I can still use it thankfully but its annoying.

    I solved the same issue by turning off Nvidia Gforce Experience overlay - That fixed it right up for me.
