The Case of the Disapearing files, pictures, what have you.

I have recently went and got a computer that is worthy of Daz and poser. Only thing is I uploaded all the stuff I had and when I did a scan it all disappeared. It either I got a message of file not found or no such product.

Any suggestions as to how I start again? or how I get Daz to read the file with the pictures , I have a lot of sets and models but wow I'm just lost now.
