4.9 problem

I'm having a problem with installing 4.9 and getting DForce to show up.

When I install DS 4.9, It gets all the way through to where I need to enter my Admin password, and then freezes, not going any further in the install, ad seen in the attached picture. If I force quit at this point, 4.9 does open up, but I'm not finding the Dforce feature in my Scene tab's Edit options.

    dForce is not in 4.9, it's in the Public beta of 4.10 (which has to be installed through Install Manager).

    As for your hanging install - what security software are you running, if any?

    I can't install 4.9 either.  It freezes at the same point for me too.  I posted a thread on it a week or two ago.  Nobody had a solution.

    Ah. Thanks for letting me know. The info on DForce in my library said it was for 4.9 and up. That's why I decided to upgrade from 4.8.

    4.10 General Release has been released today.
