Autofit from G3M to G8M not working so well

One of the things I was told was that autofit would work well between gen3 and gen8, but I am running into issues with autofit not working well, especially with clothing which appears to be made with Marvelous Clothing designer.

For example when I use the H&C police Unofrm and add a bulge to the character's anatomical element area, the clothing can't handle it. It is like there is a hole down in the groin and becomes  distorted even in a basic standing there clothing pose. There is no real smoothing option. I have a number of outfits made this way with various wardrobe issues. and the problematic ones seem to be made with Marvelous Clothing designer.

Any suggestions on how to get the fits to work without tearing or poking through the body or causing elements to disappear?  It should be working right?

Try the method by Sickleyield. It works better a lot of the time.

That method works for me on some outfits but we were told autofit from Genesis 3 to gen 8 should function. If I need to rerig it... autofit is not working properly.
