Hey Everyone!
I love this product https://www.daz3d.com/cafeteria-eating-area but unfortunately I'm not to crazy about the furniture. When I was a kid, school lunch tables looked more like the pic below. Does anyone know where I could find a model like that?
Thanks!

I looked around for one of these like crazy about two years ago... every single school I went to growing up had those, and my family moved every two to three years, so that was six different schools. The closest I found was a 3DS max model at TurboSquid that was of the variation that had rows of round seats rather than a bench, which is what we had in my Junior High and High School, but the TS model didn't even fold so I ended up cheating the shot using two of the metal tables from Richabri's "The Reformatory" set from Renderosity stuck together. ( https://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/the-reformatory/115594/ if they let the link stay )
Cybersox, sounds a lot like me. My dad was a doctor for the Navy and got stationed at the Naval Academy in Annapolis. We were only there for two years while I was in middle school and that's exactly what the tables looked like in our lunch room.
I was a NASA brat, so I can relate. And since I had them in seven different cafeterias in six different cities, I'm fairly sure that most schools had (and still have) them given that it's a rare school that doesn't have the cafeteria double up for some other purpose, usually an auditorium or gym, and this design's main advantage is that it folds up vertically and can be rolled over to line the sides of the room. Honestly, any other kind of fixture just looks wrong to me, so it's perplexing that the handful of cafeteria sets I've seen for Poser/DAZ all use regular restaurant style tables and chairs.
Thought I would post an update. There are places where this model can be found. I'll include the links below. Honestly, even if you download it, I'm not even sure it's something you'd even be able to open or import into DAZ studio. I haven't had any luck getting it to work but if you do find a way please let me know how, I'd certainly be interested.

well the buggers made 3Dwarehouse no longer accessable with my older versions of Sketchup with obj export abilities so they can stick their table where it folds!
and that dae file is the crapiest one I have seen yet I can actually see the table in FBX viewer but the conversion fails to produce a mesh in most programs and I get half a table in Carrara and UWW3D
