Question about installation, de-installation

My laptop is all messed up, some things are on my hard drive (by accident) which is now full, others on an external hard drive which is now full, others on Connect which is all screwed up and barely works at all. I want to remove all Connect stuff and what is on my laptop, but keep what is on the external hard drive (that I will transfer to a bigger external hard drive.) How do I uninstall only Connect items and what's on my hard drive? How do I know which is which? Thanks.

For connect, you can delete the folder where it's content resides, usually something like C:\DAZ 3D\Studio\My Daz Connect Library\data. If you're nervous about deleting before you test it out, you can just rename it to dataold or something so that Daz won't be able to find it.
Use DIM to simply re-install your connect stuff to any drive (internal or external)...basically whereever you specify in DIM settings. Then it will be dim-installed (which I prefer anyway). On download filters, you may have to check connect available/installed to get it to show up.
For the old DIM stuff on your laptop, simply drag the folder (usually named something like C:\My DAZ 3D Library) to whatever new location you'd like it to reside. No point in 'uninstalling', just move it to the bigger drive.
Then update the path in Content Directory Manager in daz studio (Edit > Prefs > Content > Content Dir Mgr) to point to the new location.
Thanks Toonces!
Please be advised: Ctrl+A on the installed tab and right clicking to uninstall will be the better way to remove the Daz Connect data.
Good point! Didn't realize it would uninstall *just* the connect data. Pretty nifty.
