Old Guy demands later version of DS?

Hi all, When I try to load the Old Guy it tells me that the files won't work in my current version but needs a later version. But neither my DIM nor my DS is telling me I need a new version, and when I tried to download again from the product page in my content list, DIM wouldn't do it. So is there a problem with DS or with the Old Guy, do you think? My installation of DS says version 4.9.3.166... Thanks!

  • 4.9.4.122 is the current release version. Was DIM working on-line when you checked for updates? If you click the Download Filters button on the Ready to Download tab is software for your platform checked?

    Yes, I've tried several times, was online. I even went to the download page and told it to install with DIM, and it acted like I hadn't asked. Should I install again manually? I'll try that.

  • \Well, I have tried everything. The Product list won't show me ANY product. My list of owned products is there but whatever I try to click on, it tells me "Select a product to get started". I have even rebooted my computer - same thing. I cannot download DS. So I uninstalled both DS and IM, now have neither on my computer, but still the account won't let me download anything.

    I am very frustrated! Is the DS account system down maybe? And the REALLY annoying thing is, you can't get a direct download from the DAZ DS page - it forces you through to your account products page - which won't let me display or download any products!

    Any ideas, anyone? Thanks!

    i've seen those ds upgrade warning messages on G8, i ignore it and they do load.

    No, it's on the DAZ web site in my account ... but this morning it's all working again, yaaay! Thanks! And after uninstalling my DIM and my DS and then reinstalling DIM, which then installed the latest DS - hurray, all is working!
