There seems to be a bit of confusion about the “Midnight Skeleton Anatomy Pack” just to clarify it will suit both versions G3M and G8M skeletons. The tail will also fit any figure with a pelvis bone. Hope you guys are enjoying them !

P.S preview of the Low res version with 17 bone pile morphs coming in the future !

So I could attach the bone to good ol' G2?

    oh that sort of confusion.

Having got used to trying to persuade people to use the term Anatomical Elements in their thread headers I had a different sort of confusion, wondering how skeltons could have anatomical elements.

  • There's a bone joke there but I'm not touching !!!

  • I never realized it, he is a horny skeleton Lol!

Just to clarify... when you write "the tail fits any figure with a pelvis bone", that means I can load it to G2, for example, without having to go through fitting(which would then lose me all bones, literally! cheeky)?

These look awesome, Wayne! Quick question - is there a way to fit them to a G3M so that the bones will assume the figure's shape, and follow the figure's pose?

ETA: Curious about this for the skeleton in general, as well as the add-ons.

  • I did post an image in the other forum, you just drop and drap the skeleton on G3M I do have a G3M fit dial but the jaw still pokes out a but. It follow the morph to a certain degree leg get a bit wonky.

My only confusion with them was why there isn't a bundle of all the items together?  sad

Not to sound cranky, but... Given that you answered Chohole and algovincian straight away, who posted after me respectively, the timezone issue somehow sounds hollow. *shrugs*

Anyway, thank you for answering, and I'll put the pack into my cart now as it is something I can use without limitations. smiley

  • I actually missed it, at that time in the morning I can barely remember my name!

Yeah, I know that feeling... smiley

Bought the Add on pack, looking forward to use it. Thanks for creating this product!

  • Cheers sorry about the late reply, all the best :)

This isn't about the anatomy pack but instead about both skeletons.
I was wondering if they both have exactly the same poses. I think I'd rather purchase the G3 version but the 8 version has a pose that I just coincidently needed and for a skeleton at that. What a coincidence. surprise

  • I would have gone for the one with the biggest support for clothes and poses, the rigs are different even if the mesh is the same and when it comes the conforming the clothes it won't ask question if they are for the right version! you know naming is the hardest part !

Thats ok, I wasn't sure because I was confused by the message.
I'm guessing you mean then that you would have went for the G8 version? I know that it (in some ways) has the biggest clothing support because of auto-fit, but you have me confused where you mention:

"......it won't ask question if they are for the right version!"   You got me here, because when putting older clothing on a new figure IS exactly when the auto-fit box pops up. Did you write a typo?
There was also the question about the poses. smiley
While your skelly's are based on Male, there are times when there are some nasty fitting problems with G8 Female using older clothes, some clothing items are not even listed, and high heels are just a pain, I've seen a number of folks talking about that problem. Initially I was thinking this way about the skeleton, but considering it's based on male auto-fit probably works better, especially since one probably won't be fitting high heels on him. So actually the 8 version would probably be fine. Is that the one you mean you would get? I just figured I'd have the least amount of auto-fit trouble if I got the G3 version because of all the clothes and such out.

I always think there's going to be problems for clothes going from a T-Pose to an A-Pose under the arms arn't that good, I think high heels are in the same boat you're converting from one angle to another. Older clothes I never really thought about that as there would no auto fit templates with the skeleton, you would have to fit to a genesis 3 or 8 male figure first then conform the skeletion to the genesis figure and just hide the genesis figure. Wow that's a lot of work to get older clothing on the skeleton. What I ment by the right figure that there no autofit needed if you use the right cloths.

  • It's a bit of a trick when you put the clothing on it fools it into thinking it's genesis 3 male or 8 so it doesn't get to the autofit part it bypasses it. I really didn't think of older cloths so my bad !

With Dforce hopefully that's going to be less important in many cases.

There's a ways to go but it's a good start once we get the hang of it !
