I just used the SYTemplates for Gen8Male

I may have overlooked something for the fitting of the shirt, seeing as there is some poke through in the armpit and maybe the chest.  Otherwise, the add-on does a great job. Quite impressed.

Hello!  As I also said on deviantart, that's not what they do.  The purpose of the templates is to add bone handles to longer items - long tunics, skirts, coats, loincloths - that would lose those extra bones when AutoFit is used, or to add bone handles to new clothes.  So using the templates on a shirt isn't going to do much, because it's too short to really need handles.  Clipping is a separate issue that I've addressed in a separate product (Clothing Fit Helper).

  • Ok, I got it now. I also have to practice using the others features of the product. It’s a useful add on, worth getting.

I just used SYTemplates to rig a dress and a skirt for G8F - with 16 extra bones!  It was glorious.

  • Here are conversions of a Genesis 2 outfit to Genesis 8 Male, using SYTemplates.  I did have to adjust the pants thigh and shin scalings a bit, but that is not a problem. The tunic is nicely converted.
