So am i able to make my own characters?

Hi and welcome. :-)

"Previously made character" - Do you mean a 3D figure that you made in a different program? Or are you talking about turning your 2D figure into a 3D figure by using one of the base Genesis characters, and change the shapes, skins, etc?

Or are you just looking for a way to have a model that you can use as a base for yor drawings (which are very good, by the way!)
