Hugs from Puerto Rico

Hello guys. As you may know we in Puerto Rico are having a very sad time. Me personally and my island. This is the first time I have internet since the hurracaine Maria hit us and want you to know I'm alright. Have many losses but I'm alive thank God. Thanks for all the people that send me emails and ask for me and my family. Many hugs guys. Victor aka teknology3d

    @teknology3d   Fantastic news! We've been thinking about the island. We're in Florida, the panhandle and luckily missed by hurricanes so far. Just rain and a bit of wind from Nate. I can't imagine what you're going through and I hope the electric grid and drinking water situation gets better for the entire island. Puerto Rico is in the news every night, particularly CNN. They are really pushing for more action, and faster. We're rooting for quick assistance for you. Long distance hugs!

    @teknology3d - Happy to hear you and your family are doing okay. Is there anything we can do to better help. I watch and read a lot of various news. I feel like we are all getting conflicting information. I'm not talking politics. I just hope you all are being taken care of. Keep your spirits up. You all will come through this stronger.

    Hang in there, Victor! We're praying for you and hopefully, the change will happen to bring you guys the help you need. I know that there has been some ball dropping. I know so many still are without clean water and power. Please know that you're in our hearts and prayers and many of us are sending supplies and doing what we can. Please be safe!

    I wish you and everyone else in Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands the best of luck. Sadly there isn't much I can do to help out, but I did send emails to my representatives to try and get them to approve aid for you and light a fire under FEMA so they actually do their job. It might help if other people wrote to their Senators, since the Senate is the next step in getting financial aid for the recent hurricanes.

    Glad you are ok! I know Nelson Nieves is also there and was finally able to get online for brief periods of time. Hugs to you and yours! We get a lot of crazy weather here in the Midwest, but nothing like what you all have been through lately.

    ...same here as I am in a very thight budget.  Been sharing links to relief organisations on my FB page for those who can affored to donate.
