True. But while its a bit more real-world useful, it doesn't lend itself as well to a simple before/after compare. But the simulation and fitting process is worth looking at, gang!
OW! I can't unthink that image.
Mmm... but it also means that at this point, you can't use the dynamics on all the clothes and things you have bought so far, because everything needs to be adapted. I knew there was a downside to this...
EDIT: https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/203081
At least, you can go and adapt your items yourself, if you are adventurous... *head explodes from reading*
Aave says her clothes should work with minimal adjustments in the Announce thread.... I remember trying to make Hinata dress look nice in that other cloth simulator.
The process is actually quite easy. Here is a quick test. I used the skirt from the "Pleated Outfit", added a dForce modifier, painted aquick weight map to keep the top area stiff and in place and simulated. No great work of art, but it worked and took all of 2 minutes.
Off to play in more detail...
Ciao
TD
it's actually very easy to do the "conversions"
I played around and converted most of Lilflame's stuff. I didn't save anything though... but I learned a lot!!
yes works on one I modelled myself
Okay, for idiots now, please... where do I find "add dForce Modifier" in my surface tab? I find the dForce Surface Adapter, but I'm at a loss where to find the add thingamanom...
its in the simulation window in right hand striped corner right click
Ahhhh!!!!
See, that's why my brain's exploding over the simpleness of it all....
