PC+ Membership Sale

A year ago today (30/9), I bought my first PC+ annual membership.

A sale on the PC+ (annual) membership, is the only way that I'll be able to afford to renew it. So, is there going to be a sale on memberships soon?

The PC+ sale is coming up right after the PA sale, which usually has discounts on membership.

I seem to recall membership was 30% off throughout the sale last year, though the discount might have been higher on a few days

They offered it to non members for 50% off about a month ago, I doubt I'll rejoin for much less, I haven't really missed it this month. I just don't buy DO or PC items just stick to PA stuff.

Yep, it was 50% off at end of August.

I've been about three weeks without my PC+ membership and it's making me sad not having it. I hope they have a really good PC+ membership sale soon.

I think that was for people who didn't have PC+ already, if I remember correctly.

Seeing that the PA sale has been extended, then I can see why there hasn't been any membership sales. Oh well, I'll just have to keep a look out for one.

    Thanks for the replies smiley

What I find iffy is only Annual memberships go on sale and not the quarterly (for the past year or so, as far as I have observed). I understand the push toward Annual memberships, but not everyone wants to plop themselves on that, even if it is arguably more cost-effective in the long term.

  • Well, my PC+ is about to expire today. Do I have to manually cancel as well? I have today as billing date. Was not billed though and have not checked recurring. To be save just changed billing cycle to 1 month as well.

If you bought it through Paypal you have to manually tell Paypal it NOT to renew the membership - as it sets it as renewing billing automatically.

I'm not sure if you have to do any manual adjustments if you purchased it with a credit card or not.

There is a checkbox for "Recurring" on the "Platinum Club Plus" page. With that unchecked, you shouldn't be billed by Daz when your membership expires.
