G3m to G2m???

Is there a way to have g2m be able to "wear" something made for g3m like hair or a fiber mesh beard? I know that G3m can wear G2m stuff, but autofollow doesn't go in reverse. I have genx2, so I know I can convert morphs from Gm3 to Gm2 and the reverse, but is there a way to enable and earlier version to use something from a later version.

Really, I would love to be able to use later stuff all the way back to genesis of M4, but I doubt that is possible.

ANd while I am here, if Genesis can "wear" M4 clothes, can Genesis 2 and 3 also?

Genesis 3 Male For Genesis 2 Males. I have it and it does an excellent job. They've also got something similar if you want to use Genesis 3 female clothes and hair, etc. on Genesis 2 Females.

Thank you. Will these work on hair and beards also?

Yep, I've used it on hair and beards too. Though none of my characters have really long beards, so I don't know how well it would work on those.

Genesis wears M4 hair, skins and clothes, not need to buy any additional plug-ins for these.

Yes, for straight out of the box compatibility, you can't beat the original Genesis.

You can also wear any generation hair prop on any generation figure if you try this trick. I do it all the time.

If you parent the hair and fit it in place manually to the character head,  instead of trying to fit it automatically.  you can use 98% of any of the generation hair props on any of generation character offered in the daz store including genesis3 to genesis, if you "parent" the hair prop to the character instead of "fitting too" , Parenting the hair prop will retain all the original  hair morphs and movement values that comes with the hair. which sometimes is lost when trying to autofit hair to a different generation character not supported for that  given generation hair set.  Try parenting the hair, it works much better for cross character sharing of hair props,

I rarely use g3 clothing so I can't give any advice on how to make that work with genesis or genesis2. other than a autofit tool.

Adding collision helps that process, particularly with the skullcap

I not so much concerned about clothing going backwards as I Create my own
But I would love to be able to transfer the Ivan morphs from G3M back to G2M.indecision

Two ways to do that. One is free but takes a good bit of work -- there's a very long thread explaining it somewhere in the forums -- while the other is easier & quicker but not free. That's GenX and the plugin for Genesis 3. Was on sale last week, will probably come around again during the next Catch Up day if you're interested. Along with most of the other clones & stuff I mentioned earlier.
