I thank you for making this support genesis2 , I picked them up today , for future refference, I'll supoort "ANYTHING" genesis or genesis2 I use them for animation. I just have such a hard time with V8 and Genesis3 & 8 , it just does not cut it when trying to get it to play nice with other content when working with animation like g2 does
Thank you very much Ivy
Thank you very much Joe. It means a lot.
...Just dont mention the name in the Theatre....
I may have come across antagonistic in my first post. If so, I'm sorry, that wasn't my intent. I was quite surprised by it being for G2M, but I'm still interested in it and would not have asked about the transfering and colors if I wasn't. It'll just be a bit more work to get where I need to be.
Great product Ghost!!!
I still use the Genesis 2 figures nearly exclusively
although as a content developer myself, I have the option of supporting G3/G8.
However they are not worth my time due to their non/limited compatibility with
all of my animation tools.
Well, I'm not sure what your intention was, but when you've been around a few years and went through two or three generation changes (like me), maybe your tune will be a different one. Just saying.
Also, why don't you just use the character on Genesis2? I mean, it's not like you need any other character outside of the free G2M base.
The character & bear come with Iray textures, and play very happily when you put them together with characters of other generations. As long as the bear won't eat them.
Because G3 is one number higher than G2
and G8 is six numbers higher.
My projects involve a lot of shifting back and forward between people in human form and people in animal forms, with stepped partial transformations in between. I'm mostly using generation 3 for the humans, as that's what I have the most of. While morphs can be transfered between generations, UV transfering doesn't always play nice. (LAMH transfering is the worst though). So I'm often having to recreate characters across multiple generations with transfered morphs.
This, all the way.
JosephLemons, you might not use Genesis 2, but other people do. I for one welcome more Genesis 2 material, as it shows there's still a market out there for that particular generation.

The comment was obviously open to two readings, but I'm pretty sure the poster always mean it as a humorous (if unfair) comment on Daz, not a slight towards Ghost of Macbeth.
I admit a Humourous but unfair Comment
thistledownsname the figure works well to have it change shapes and grow. I tried to do a really cool animation, doing just that but it is not something that I am that great at. But it did look cool while I was doing it
Someone needs to make a less athletic version of this guy straddling a keg.
There is an option for weight to sort of smooth out some of the athletic build, as well
I had to get it for the hair suit alone, but the beautiful morphs were also an added bonus, even though I do more sci-fi stuff.
Here's the hair suit loaded on to G3M, with no issues. I can't wait to create an alien with this!
I just had to make it pink :P
hahah That's pretty cool! I didn't know you could wear the hair on G3M. I wonder if it would transfer to G3F too (for a family of hairy alien people lol).
Ok, after seeing you can wear the fur on G3M too, I might have to get it! lol
PINK??! Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!
;)
Laurie
He would make a great Moss-Man for a Masters of the Universe fan. ;)
The pink version reminds me of those pink coconut, marshmallow chocolate snack cakes...just a tad less edible. Pink snowballs? ;)
I'm gonna have to get this guy. Not sure if I'd ever use the 'fur suit' but seeing what a few people have done with it, it looks like a lot of fun to mess around with. I can see so much with this, especially a Sasquatch sort of character. I absolutely love the base figure though. Looks very rugged and tough. Nice work, sir.
I like G2M much, but he has problems on the feet and fingers when he is morphed and you try to pose him. Daz knows these problems. Often you can't touch the correct foot in the PowerPose.
Yeah, the fur suits can be used on other characters and in other colors for more versatility.
He's really beautiful. I notice in the Daz Store, he has amazing hair in the first two images. I think this hair doesn't come with the kit, but can't find a reference to the source of those locks. does anyone know what hair is used in those demo shots?
