Do I need PostgreSQL installed to use DAZ Studio?

PostgreSQL  is it really necessary?  I have installed it twice and now it is asking for a name and password.  Do I need training for this as well???

    username and password that you used to sign on the the Daz 3D site and forums.

    PostgrSQL is delivered within the DAZ installation. Installed that way there isn't any username nor password necessary.
    Looks as if you use an external standalone installation.
