Anybody else having avatar upload problems?

I used to have an avatar (I uploaded it as soon as the avatar upload was working on the new forums).
Several weeks ago I tried to upload a new one but couldn't.
I deleted the old avatar and tried again - still no luck.

EVERY time I try to upload a new avatar I get:

"An error was encountered while attempting to assign your image"

I've tried several different images, both JPG and PNG, all 100px x 100px or smaller (in both dimensions), all well under 100kB.
I've tried using Firefox (19.0.2) and IE9 (64-bit, 9.0.14)


I've already contacted support, but I'd like to know if anybody else has this problem

    Avatar uploading has been broken again for a while now.

    The Avatar PLUGGIN was broke with one of the Site updates and has not been fixed. IF it can be fixed is the BIG question.
