Is Paid Custom Face Request A Thing?

Hello! I am new to this whole world in terms of design. I have looked at a lot of softwares and sites and I always found 3D content amazing. I have a request but I am not sure where to post it and even if custom requests are a thing, even for paying customers.

BLUF (Bottom Line Up Front): I am looking for an experienced artist who can take some photos of a specific male's face that I have and turn them into a detailed rendered face that I can use for visual and audio stories within Daz and Genesis.

Details: I have quite a few stories that involve a specific male protaganist that I have had in mind for years, but I have never really found the visuals for him until now. I found a collection of pictures of a man who fits the role of my stories perfectly, but I do not have the skills to create a 3D mockup of his facial features. That is why I am wondering if there is a place or people who take custom requests for people who are willing to pay. Quality is more important to me than price! I tried Fiverr but there are only a few sellers and they all seem to be using outdated bad software to render what they call a 3D face. From what I have found Daz3D is the best software so I decided to take action and post this.

Due to the private nature of my work with wanting to create visual content I do not want to post photos or source files on the forum. That will need to happen in private messages.

Any help or advice would be appreciated.

    I'm not sure about a custom sculpt (you'd likely have to find a really good sculpture artist to be able to do that), but there are programs that help you recreate faces from photographs. One of the more well-known ones is FaceGen: https://www.daz3d.com/facegen-artist-pro

    You can download a demo of it here: https://facegen.com/artist_demo.htm if you want to try it out before buying it. It places a watermark/logo on the face, but it will give you an idea of the program and what it is capable of. 

    I think the demo version only does faces for Genesis and Genesis 2, but it should give you an idea of what the program is about.

    Tehre are several artist out there who do custom work... for a price.  3DUniverse takes commissions at his own site, as does Kaos3D and I believe Popserworld still does as well.

    It looks like I am looking for a custom face sculpt and I am willing to pay! I reached out to 3DUniverse 2 days ago but have yet to hear back. Thanks to both of you who have responded thus far! I am looking for someone who is comfortable in face sculpting for a custom request.
