I have questions about the affiliate program as shown on this page:
https://www.daz3d.com/community-affiliate-program
So out of curiosity (lizard brain thinking) .. i clicked the link .. which takes me to CJ website ... it tells me to sign up as a publisher ... so I did (even though im not a publisher) somewhat inventing some of the information along the way to try and understand how exactly this works ... once signed up it takes me to a stats page ....
So once at said stats, page, how does that related to Daz3d? .. i see nothing about Daz3d. There really isn't any clear explanation anywhere about how you set this up with Daz3d.
In theory, the idea is; i create a link on my blog, link goes to Daz product, if someone buys product, i get a percentage ... so how does this concept connect with CJ and Daz3d? Am i missing a big step in this process? Should I see Daz3d in the stats page of CJ?
Thanks
David

With an affiliate program, you put ads for a company (in this case, Daz3D) on your OWN website and the ads are encoded with a unique number (you) and you get a commission every time someone that visits your page clicks thru the ad and buys something. Sometimes just clicks the ad (I dunno how Daz affiliate program works since I don't have a website anymore). Commission Junction is just the middleman that handles all that nasty business for Daz and keeps, updates and encodes all the current ads Daz has out at any given moment and then keeps track of all of it for you. I would think that you would see stats for Daz on your CJ page when there are stats to report ;).

Greetings,
On the top of the CJ interface is 'Advertisers'. Click there, then look for the 'Advertisers' text field. Enter DAZ in there, and it'll pop up 'DAZ 3D (########)', which you'll click on. Then press the Search button. That should pull up DAZ themselves in CJ's marketplace. From there, you want to join them, and since I'm already on the affiliate program, I don't have the same screen as you will. Look towards the icons on the top right of the Advertiser details area (right under the 'Advertiser - A-Z' dropdown) and one of those should be something like join or apply or something.
From there you'll also get links to the DAZ store for various kinds of promotions. If you haven't done manual creation of ads before it can be a bit overwhelming; I'd dealt with CJ before via eBay affiliate stuff a long time ago, so I was prepared. :)
Just...please, for the love of god, don't send emails with the affiliate links. That's spam-like. Dreamlight does that, leveraging his email lists, and I'm FAIRLY sure it violates several rules... :-(
I hope that helps!

edit: Also, unless you have a large volume of users visiting your site already, expect it to be slow going at first until you build an audience.
