Does anyone know where to find that free UV_set of V4.2 to use on Genesis1?

Hello guys,
Some time ago, maybe a 04 year old, there was somewhere a generation4 (M4 / V4 / KID4) uv_set to apply on Genesis1.
It was one that, just the V4 uv_set worked perfect on G1, than m4 or other,
I lost the backup file, and I can not remember where I downloaded it at the time.
Thank you

werent they in the genesis starter essentials?
The only K4 for G1 uv I remember or have was a Christmas freebie from here 3 years ago (almost).
No. If I'm not mistaken this was created by a user here in the forum, and was available somewhere, to download.
I have a slight impression that it was in S.h.a.r.e.c.g, But I've already looked there and not meeting
mebbe this? https://www.daz3d.com/corrected-v4-uv-for-genesis
That was for Genesis 2
I am a bit confused by this request, because that basic free Genesis 1 model already comes with UVs for M4, V4 and K4. There are also UVs for Genesis Base Male and Genesis Base Female. Any generation 4 skin can thus be used on Genesis.
If you are using this in Poser, then you need to load the correct version to get the desired UV, ie Base Female will use the V4 UV, Base Male the M4, and Base Child the K4.
There is a UV switcher somewhere on sharecg that let you switch the UVs inside Poser for figures that have already been loaded. I believe Poser does not support multiple UVs for a single figure quite so elegantly as DS.
Yep, you're right. My bad.
Hello guys!
Thank you all!
I believe I found what I was looking for:
http://www.mec4d.com/store/uv-switcher-dson.html
although this at the time was free (I'm not complaining about the $ 1.00 price)
And they are these same:
Victoria4
Michael4
Michael5
Victoria5
Stephanie5
Kids4
of these the V4 uv is the best fit to export Genesis1 to Vue loading M4 texture.
That's just a switcher preset. All it does it change the uv to V4 for you instead of you changing it yourself in the surfaces tab. The download doesn't contain any actual uvs.
The actual V4 uv itself came with Genesis by default.
But it´s using M4 preset in G1 give a error in vue with texture off the place
How are you importing/exporting into Vue?. If you are exporting to obj, this should leave the original UV unchanged, as long as you had the M4 UV active at the time you did the export.
What I'm saying is, the download won't fix anything you're experiencing. What the files in that download do just add an icon to change the UV, which are already present in your surfaces tab for the figure.
Excuse me! I speaking of exporting PP2014gd for Vue
PoserScene (.pz3)
OK, then you need to be certain that Genesis is set to M4 UV in Poser before you create the pz3 file. I seem to recall there could be issues if there are other Genesis models in the same scene set to alternative UVs, so that is something to check for aswell.
My problem is with gray areas, the texture fits out of place, and there are gray borders between one limb and another (M4 preset in G1, in Vue)
In poser everything works well, these presets.
But, "V4 preset" is the only preset that works perfect on G1 in Vue without problems!
This solved my problem.

Here's what works:
using the TCC to convert texture from M4 to V4, then load G1 Male, apply preset V4 (switcher preset) to G1 male, and apply texture converted to it.
export to Vue and that's what's working
discard M4 preset, this does not work
My mistake. You didn't mention you were using Poser in the first place.
It is not ideal, but you could try and export the Genesis with M4 UV as an obj, rather than as part of the rest of the scene in the pz3 file. When you import the figure as obj into Vue this should, in theory, preserve the M4 UV.
