Hopefully, it is inevitable. A supersuit for G8M and G8F is coming.
There have many in the past with some amazing features.
In a new set, what are the items from previous sets you would like to see in a future supersuit for G8M and G8F?
I want a slew of material zones like in the original DAZ supersuit but with more divisions of area and the ability to split the suit down the middle (right-side/leftside) in material zones.
Having it form fit with thousands of morphs would be lovely too.
What do you look forward to? What do you want?

Something like the3dwizard had for G3F, but for both genders this time...
You mean for G2F? I actually had some hair before I started that one ;)
There are some many things that you could put in a supersuit it could really get bloated.
Well... with all the money you'd make from another stab at it for G8F and G8M, you could join the Hair Club for Men.... or buy a toupee.... or polish for your head.
(I too have an exceeding forehead.... not a receeding hairline.... and exceeding forehead. It's an overachiever. :) )
3dWizard? You still out there, buddy? :) I miss your stuff. MAKE MORE! :)
Thanks for the shout-out! Still here and I got a couple of things I am working. Decided to work on some bigger sets but haven't put much time into them. Here is some hair for a sci-fi outfit I am working. Not ready to show much more yet. :D
Please for the love of Mother McGillicutty, make it have a morph for a widows peak and make it for G3M, G2F, and the G8 line too. It looks like PERFECT Joker hair. :)
Right now just for G8F, forgot to add the widows peak so I will do that. I guess I could add add more and make it a seperate product, just wasn't sure there would be enough interest in just the hair.
Cheers!
That hair reminds me of the villian from the Incredibles.
I think this thread was for a Supersuit and runs now into a hair thread? But I really like that hair too.
I would also love to see a new supersuit/bodysuit but please not with all the seams here and there like the ones for Genesis or the great ones from the X-Fashion-Series by xtrart-3d. I know, it easier to make more money with a bodysuit for each Superhero Character (MightyMite release each week one Supersuit, Tops, Bottoms or Boots for any kind of Superhero or -villain, instead of one product that fit it all, which looks to me meanwhile just like making money). Not anyone like the new "cool" Superhero styles from the current movies. Some people like me would like to dress their superheroes more like the ones from the seventies comics.
A simple bodysuit like the ones for the Generation 4, that we can texture, but with many, many more material zones like said in the 1st post of the thread would be really great. Emblems and other add-ons should be seperate parts, which can be attached to the bodysuit. The new bodysuit should also have a mask of the complete head with different options (incl. no visible ears). I really hopes it will come together with a new dForce cape some day very soon.
If you make it for G3F, it can easily be adapted to G3M as well and the G8 line is backwards compatible as well. I would LOVE to have the hair for G3F, for sure. I am slowly easing into G8 and I only buy products like hair and such if they also work with G3 for hair and clothes for the most part.
Do you have a length morph for it too? :)
As long as we're dreaming . . .
I still like and use the Genesis Supersuit as well as Joe Quick's Golden Age suit for M4, which comes with a great selection of capes, cowls, belts, and so forth. I know a lot of people don't like the endless materials zones on the Genesis Supersuit, and I will grant that it can be a pain to texture each of those from scratch. But if you want something that is endlessly customizable, I think you really do have to have lots and lots of zones. What annoys me about many supersuit-style packages is that the ears of the hero stick out, but RawArt's NoSuits have a very useful ears-in morph thank goodness.
So, to me, a G8 suit would be a good, basic update of the Genesis suit, but with an eye toward providing the types of accessories that Joe Quick did.
100% Agree. :)
That looks awesome!
Yes, I think it's time we started talking about the bodysuits for this generation... :)
PLEASE! PLEASE! PLEEEEEZ! make a G3M version of this hair with Logan/Wolverine and Joker morphs! Logan would have sides up but top slicked back and Joker would have three clumps pulled together at the ends one on top and two at the sides. I can provide photoref if needed. :)
I'd like the G8M supersuit to be VERSATILE but classic that could emulate several suits of the superhero classics.
in a word - dForce! I wouldn't even consider a Supersuit without it! I love the Genesis supersuit - love the endless material zones and adaptability, but I just can't deal with the whole shrink-wrapped look in the breast area on the females. I was soul-crushed to see that the Genesis 3 iteration of the supersuit had the exact same problem, because I love everything thing else about it. So for me, dynamics, no shrink-wrapping in the breast area, and the excellent features of G1 and G3, and I'd be ecstatic.
Man, I wanna see the new supersuit for G8 male and female Just made by you! PLEASE!!!!
I'm really hoping for a more versile supersuit with lot more material zones and with option of wrinkle effect. Pleeeease??
Dforce is not needed for most suits but would be needed for a cape line which I would love to see. Most superheroes wear form fitting stuff anyway and I don't think DForce could accomodate as many differing boidy style as a conforming bit of clothing would. Please cvorrect me if I am wrong. I would love for an advancement of thhat nature but I don';t think DForce is there yet.
Technically speaking, dForce is never *needed* ;) But what it does is give little touches of realism to clothing. Even for bodyhugging conforming clothing, there are places where things bunch up, little wrinkles in the joints - just small things that you wouldn't notice but add a nice level of realism. I personally would love to see "reactive wrinkles" - places where clothing is reacting to the bends of the joints, rather than pre-modeled wrinkles that don't change with the pose. I've been playing with dForce a lot lately on older items in my runtime, and for those items that I can get to work, the results have been subtle, but really immersive. Either way, dForce or no, I really just don't want static-cling breasts for the females - that's my #1 thing I don't want to see! Other than that, I've been pretty pleased with the material zones for pretty much all the bodysuits / supersuits that have been released. And dForce for capes would be really fun.
I will admit I am speaking from ignorance here as I have not embraced and explored the technology as of yet. My main concern is I deal with a lot of VERY morphed figures which are drstically changed from normal human proportions to that of muscular god-like heroes. CONFORMING clothing works for me as I can change the figure when I want to what I want on the fly and the conforming will pretty much keep up. Dynamic clothing BEFORE had to be tailored for the figure or it would be tight/not fit in some areas or baggy in others. I guess I should spend some time and see if that is still the case.
And we BOTH agree about the capes. :)
If you haven't played with dForce yet - I'd definitely say, give it a try! It can be a lot of fun - it can also be a massive PITA to get working for clothing not designed from the ground up for it. It's funny, what turned me on to dForce in the first place was my superhero characaters in their 'civilian' identities. Conforming clothing works great for tight, fitted clothing like supersuits. My challenge lies in showing my hero when he's not in the supersuit. Because he's so muscular, he looks awful in conforming "street clothes" - business suits. A suit-jacket should not show the musculature of his abs or pecs! Suit pants shouldn't show the musculature of the quadriceps. That's really why I turned to dForce in the first place. But, I've de-railed your thread enough - more talk of cool suit features!
Discussion is always welcome! :)
What other features would everyone like in a new supersuit?
I think maybe not one supersuit but a collection of a few with various material zones that can be used as layers would best suit a new supersuit design. Maybe a bunch of individual belts and masks like Golden Age from JoeQuick had but a few suits with meticulously orchestrated Material Zones like the G2F Ultrasuit and the classic Genesis Supersuit. There needs to be a great selection of Shaders with it, of course,
And DEFINITELY some DForce capes. :)
What are the features you want to see in a new supersuit and what are some that are not so helpful to you.
What i love about the classic Genesis Supersuit is the number of morphs it came with that allowed you to turn the suit invisible , fit different clothing items to the suit then change the morphs to get different effects like puffy sleeves.
