    thanx Misty, actually I'd been using your map as inner layer and the daz one as the outer; as for eyes, well the eyeballs look   bulging out or maybe are too big, can't figure it out exactly, but they don't seem to me extremely realistic

    eyelashes: imported them directly from DS but they don't follow automatically eyelids as you know

    your efforts on G4C are incalculable and make of carrara a still alive tool; I suspect that your work is being greatly appreciated at daz, they have taken into account your revisions  since G8F imo

    This could be from a vintage magazine ad - (I guess for war bonds?).  Great style.

    Interesting result.  I loaded the Genesis 8 base male character in Carrara.  I modeled some boots.  I exported as obj and loaded in Daz Studio.  I used Studio's transfer utility to make the boots compatible with genesis 8 male.  I saved the result as a support asset.  Now, when I load a new scene with G8M, I can load the boots in Carrara and conform even without first converting to blended.

    .

    Shouldn't I have to convert to blended first?  I was surprised when C did not crash.  Happy, but surprised.

    you transfer from the g8m beta?

    is not the wm that crashes, winkcrash is caused by a very specific thing

    I can say the same thing about the custom figures. I have some figures modeled by myself that were rigged using transfer utility with G3 template. All those custom rigged figures load in Carrara without crashing.

    Bunyip, how did you get all this clothing to work? In my case, even blended weights can't help clothes to conform anyhow. Alas I can't post nude people. Great Stephanie 8 rendering, by the way.

    Thanks UB, for color pop I use Topaz Adjust, especially the Autumn filter.
