Is anyone else having a hard time uploading images to Daz Forum or gallery? it took me 50 times to try to upload these images, mine images time out and, or a "not permitted file format to upload errors" even though its a  .jpg    this image came from  a gallery post . these image uploads issues has been going on a long time for me  I really am beginning to feel like someone is trying to block me at daz from participating in the forums.  90% of the time I have to upload stuff to Sharecg. that is why I am asking  is anyone else having these issues uploading images?

Cute image Ivy! I have lots of issues uploading to the gallery, many times it times out. I am lucky if I can get it to work after about 6 tries or so, probably why I have so few images in the gallery, it's just a pain.

I have no problems with the forums though. I NEVER uplaod a .PNG file as it takes to long to load and can drag the thread down.

I wasn't aware of a SW themed vignette, will have to pick that one up very soon.

Looks authetic old west. I'm wondering if the cowboy clothes I bought for G3M has those or if I need that other G3M cowboy bundle too.

    Personal Demons

This one DOES have quite a bit of postwork...you didn't really mention if we could use it or not. Most of it was to try and minimize noise *sigh*.

Ha! How "limitations" force art to be created rather than mere craft. Beautiful and evocative piece, my dear.

I only now found out about this contest, so no time for me to make any renders. But it doesn't say anything about the render having to be new, so here's something I've dug up from my gallery.

    Treasure Hunt

    Lots of gorgeous stuff here!

I sometimes get time out errors as well.  I usually walk away after I get too frustrated and come back to it later.  Would be nice if it didn't happen though.

Wow! There have been some really great and creative renders submitted.

I've been working on this one for a couple of days, and almost didn't enter it because it just isn't as creative as all the other enties. But, my wife thought I should, and I thought at least I'm giving a shout out and thanks to Collective3D and their great creations. So here it is, kind of a post apoctalyptic western scene, only postwork was to adjust levels.

  • I really love all the stuff using the old west vignettes.  Seems like a lot of people are getting some use out of them.

I don't know if everyone knows this, but there are 5 total (not all released yet) thst combine to form a full room and partial exterior.

  • Just a side note... I have spent the weekend in the hospital (nothing to be concerned over) and should be sprung free by around noon tomorrow.  I will be announcing the winner of the contest as soon as I'm able to.

Sorry to hear that you've spent the weekend in less than optimal conditions. Hope it's minor and not an ongoing issue. Best wishes!

Can C3D tell us which of the Vignettes combine into a complete room besides the old west ones?

I second that emotion. Once I saw the technical brilliance of DustRider's render, I opted not to burn up my laptop's 940M trying to finish the render I was working on. Hey, DustRider, ALWAYS listen to your wife!

@dustrider Oh yeah?  Well, when I saw YOUR render, I almost didn't enter mine!  I immediately had 2 thoughts.  1.) This is technically much better than anything else so far, including mine.   2.) I should have added a sexy saloon hall girl.  Sex sells...

    : /

Btw, did you change your name just for this contest?  Odd coincidence...

    : )

@xyer0  Nah!  Get it in here!  It's not about the winning; it's about making personal progress!

Ok..it is about the winning.  But it's also about making a good effort!  Who knows? Collective3D may do categories, and you will win one of those.  Like funniest, most creative etc. And they might award one of their other products as a runner up prize.  (I went back and checked.  I have 13 Collective3D products!  That has to be a record!!  But it's not enough!  I want MORE!!!)

Anything can happen, but you have to play to win!

    Nice work all!!
