A good set / morph set for G3 males beards ?

Everythng is in the title, I'd like to make some bearded guys and, well, didn't find anything really satisfying to create a range of those.
Any suggestions ?

There are fibermesh beards for Genesis, Genesis 2 and Genesis 3 Males. I have them all. My favorite for G3M is Unshaven 2 by Mec4D for Genesis 2 Male. It fits quite well to G3M in most cases. Tons of settings and beard types with that one. Nice Iray textures too.

Thanks Laurie, I saw it but was wondering if it was compatible with G3, or if it will be with G8. It does look a bit less fine than recent stuff though, so I suppose the is no more recent version ? I saw the Genesis version and it looked less good. Do you think there are chances that we'd get a new version with the release or G8 male, or soon after ?
As an aside, because I see some black type in the set you linked : the only way to add black (or asian) characters is special add-ons, right ?
And, of course, there is her version for G3M on Mec4d's own website...

I never bought the one one off-site. I dont care for the licensing terms.
Whiskers is quite useful and the only one outside of Redz beards I use anymore.

Mec4D mentioned it in another thread. By the time she had the G3M version ready, it was too late in the genesis 3 cycle. (I understand there were some hardware issues that set back her parduction schedule and she even lost a complete shader product,) But she's stated there will be a version for the G8 men. I do not have an inside track, but I'd be surprised if she isn't working on it already. (Unless, of course, it's done and just waiting for the G8M release!)
As for the thickness of the individual hairs, there is a slider to go between fine and thick. I've seen some really nice renders where the beard looks fine and whispy. I have all three Genesis versions of Unshaven, and I plan on getting the next version, too. But I have to admit, Most of the time, Unshaven 2 worked just fine on my G3 men.
You'll need to go to Renderosity.com for that, at least for now. From the main page, there is a drop down to "Shop a Vendor's Store." Click on that and type Redz into the text field. You'll see RedzStudio show up. Click on that and it will open Redz' store. However, instead of a beard product for Genesis 3 men, Redz has several G3M characters that come with fiber mesh beards, stubble, eyebrows, etc. You can also get a dedicated eyebrow product, as well as a full body hair product.

I like the beards which come with her individual characters but they are mostly of the stubble variety. For full on beards I would say whiskers is still probably your best bet
Ok, I yet have to understand how to include Renderosity files (got a few freebies) in Daz but I'll look it up. ^^
And I think I'll wait a bit to see what facial hairs come with G8M then !
I have the Whiskers product and what I didn't like about it was that the hair under the lip came all the way to the bottom of the lip, which looks pretty unnatural to me. In most men, the hair under the lip is only in the center of the lip with two hairless areas on each side of the lip just under the corners. I've seen very few men who are furry all the way across the bottom of the lip ;). It is of course a subjective thing tho ;)

Couldm't spare hairs be chosen with the node selection tool, added to a surface and made invisible?
