Can you hide Assets from being shown within a product in Smart content?

Since the release of G8F I have been seeing this issue more and more, If I am using Smart Content tab I go into a product (Usually it is a hair) and I get presented with two or three each asset.  One is usually for G3F, another is for G8F, and sometimes there is one for G2F.  However there is no way to tell which is for which and if you chose the wrong one it wants to convert to fit it.  This would also be less of a problem if they were always in the same order.  I just want to hide the assets that aren't for the model I'm using otherwise the Smart Content is becoming more and more useless through the product view.

    I don't know a way to hide them in Product view in Smart Content. It is a big pain, as you described. It would help a lot if vendors would create different thumbnails for the different versions of the hair (or other dress, or ...). AprilYSH has started doing that for her hairs that come with versions for multiple generations. I appreciate that.

    This is why I always keep the "Info" tab active at the bottom of the Smart Content panel - click on either icon and the bottom shows the file name/location - usually you can see which is G3F and which if G2F, or whatever, there.

    So I do not know, which way you prefer to serch contents which desigend for the figure.  

    , but as default, smart content designed to show only assets which have compatiblity as meta-data.

    that means, at least,  when you load and select figure,  smart contents only show items which made for actor, without auto-fit.

    it is same about G8 (g2.g3)  and hair made for G8(g2,g3)

    if your smart content show both items  that means, you do not check "filter by context" option, in bottom left side.  

    then I requested daz please simply show record of meta-data, in smart contents (include compatiblity) >info,   

    if it show compaltibility , we can clear see, the item made for which figure. no need to check by name or file path.

    But I was recommended  to use "explore target."  then actually it is not so useful about these case.  just show many target files which we need not.  (I do not know,  why we need to use many UI, just see same records of data.  I think, daz like to make complex about simple things, I believe, content library need to merge with smart content as one UI someday)

    @kitakoredaz the original poster is asking about product view in Smart Content. When you view a particular product in Smart Content, it shows all files in the product and has no option to filter by content.

    I am sorry, and I see,  it still not improved, about product view with category  "filter by contest" option are hidden. when I explore product,.

    so DAZ smart content is still WIP .    and sync filter by context can not work too.    Actually only way is serch file path with info.

    Then I hope,  when I serch file, with files section in smart contents, >>  explore product,  ds  show the file as selected (highlighted) .  but current smart contetns show all files of category without any clear sign.

    Honestly this is what I feared and expected.  G8 seems like little more than G3.1 and because they want everything so compatable they open up the door to more issues.  I really wish they would work on how thier system deals with Metadata, make better tools for you to more easily add it in, and improve their systems for presenting you with the info.  Even if the system tinted the icons of things that don't work with your model it would give a clear indication of what does and doesn't work directly with your model.
