I swear I saw an awesome new nurse outfit last night... shortly after the new sale started. I added it to my wishlist so i could grab it today... but it seems to have vanished...

Am I tripping?

It sometimes happens that a product that isn't ment to be released yet manages to glitch itself into the store for a short time. It'll probably show up soon again.

Was it realistic? Or a sexy pinup nurse outfit?

it was a realistic one for g3 if i recall correctly. I have never seen it before... figured it was a glitch for a new release, but iirc, it was like half way down the page in the daz list for the current promo....

No, it's a whole 2 months old.  Totally ancient and decrepit by now.

I didn't say that, I said it was not new, and not by DAZ New Product Discount Sales terms either.

Looks more like a flight attendant than a nurse to me.

The hat is pretty decent. They were from the school the nurse attended. There were hundreds of different styles.

True. Was at the local hospital last year, and I didn't see a single nurse wearing a dress uniform. It was either pants and shirt, or skirt and shirt. And the skirts weren't mini skirts. They were business style skirts that come just above the knee. (although come to think of it, the skirts may have been worn by the admin staff) In fact, I don't remember the last time I saw a nurse wearing the stereotypical dress outfit (much less the low cut, cleavage showing, barely above the buttocks dress that the store is full of).

Honestly, except for a stay in the hospital after an accident when I was living overseas where the nurses were still wearing distinguishing uniforms, the clothing nurses wear in the US makes them indistinguishable from doctors to me. And the other 'newish' thing are all these 'specialized helpers' that doctors have now (or is it 'specialized helpers' that the nurses have now or do they both have specialized helpers now?), makes it difficult to know just who is doing what as they come in and out of the exam room they put me in when I go to the doctor. Sometimes I think other patients are coming in the exam room and having a laugh!

In Australia, nurses and other hospital staff here usually wear a blouse/shirt/polo shirt, long pants or skirt and or scrubs depending on what they are doing for the day..

In this link https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nurse_uniform is an interesting read with it saying that the move to scrubs style uniforms was during the 1990's.. It does say that some nurses still wear the stereotypical dress but not many..

And when you do a google of nurse wear you see mostly scrubs and uniforms you would normally associate with someone working in the corporate sector..

An even better link http://viralslot.com/people/history/look-at-what-nurses-wore-through-the-years/ shows the changes to the nursing uniform over the years/decades..
