any methods for baking HD morphs into a bump map?
would prefer bump maps in animations rather than quadruple poly counts
if not in DS could there be another s/w can do it?

there is one fiddly not terribly good way
use Xnormal bake it and do one surface at a time, I found I had to use the polygon group editor create and export each surface as a separate mesh on the HD and base mesh and the result was rather meh.

but nothing going the other way
