About EULA

Can I use only the textures from a purchased product for my own projects? If so; how about commercial ones?

Thanks.

Only if the pruchased product is specified as a Merchant resource

What do you mean by projects? For mdoels or texture sets Chohole is correct, but if you mean finished 2D renders (still images or animations, not textures) then generally you can use the texture images and models as you like (the only, partial, exception I am aware of is the Anne Marie Goddard Digital Clone for Victoria 3).

Not exactly, I was thinking about using a texture for a model of mine to be appearing in a demo reel of a game.

Althought thinking about it; since it is going to be my demo reel I should be making it myself lol. I needed several sci fi screens, my Photoshop skill is severely lacking and I got quite a few packs of sci fi props from this store.

Game use would (if it was a 3D game, certainly) be redistributing a form of the content rather than an image rendered from the content so it wouldn't be covered by the basic EULA (there are Game Developer Licenses from some artists). The demo reel itself presumably would be 2D, but you probably do want to limit it to content you could use in a real game.

Thanks for the explanation; it's all clear now. Time to polish my photoshop skills I guess.
