Moving restricted items

Hi there,

I have a question, can you move items out of the restricted range?

I'll explain, I bought this 3d models

 https://www.daz3d.com/modern-treasures-for-genesis-3-female-s

but the x,y,z Translates is restricted and on only the Genesis models. Can you somehow break out of the restriction its in?

Thanks :)

I'm not sure what you mean - translation on the figure node should not have limits, but if you don't fit the items to the wearer you should be able to move them freely.

Yeah that's what I mean. Without adding on to the figure node.

For example, you put on a watch, glasses, braclet but you can't move anywhere around the viewport freely. Its limited to the zone to where the figure node is positioned. And that's not parented or added on the model.

I just wanted to know if there was an option where you can break away from it?

So the item is neither parented nor fitted? If it's a figure, are you selecting its figure node ("Something watch" or whatever) rather than one of the bones?

Which product is it? If it's limited, odd as that sounds, all you need to do is click the gear icon on the slider, Parameter Settings, uncheck Use Limits.
