Transfer differences (deltas?) between two figures

Hi there,

I'm sure this question could already be answered elsewhere (I've searched) so feel free to point me to the right place but I'm wondering if it's possible to do something.  I've built an article of clothing (a shirt for G3M) in Marvelous Designer and have imported it into Daz Studio.  I've converted it to a piece of wardrobe by updating the weight mapping and transferring the G3M/Michael/other figures rigging to the item.  It works great, it fits everything from dwarfs to Leo, the world is beautiful.  However, now I'd like to try something different.

I'd like to go back to the same file in MD and export it with a dial-based morph(?) that allows me to go between the item's default setting of long-sleeves-down-to-the-wrists to a pushed-up-above-the-elbows state.  I can create the new object in MD and import it to Daz, no problem, but I'm not sure how to (or if it's possible to) apply the differences (deltas?) from this figure to the original shirt previously imported.  Ideally, this would be a dial option.  Thoughts/advice on how best to achieve this?  Is it super-easy and I'm just not getting it?  ;-)

Thanks!

  • Use Morph Loader Pro to import the object file. Make sure you have the shirt selected when you do so.

Then save the resulting morph with File/save as/support asset/morph asset.
