So Glad I Bought All Those VICTORIA 3 Characters!

With the conversion products coming out now - I can use Victoria 3 characters and skins and clothes on Genesis 3 Female.  When the Victoria 3 products started to disappear from the stores after V4 came out I bought everything I could for V3.  I prefer the V3 faces to anything created with any other figure - the V3 body was terrible, but the faces were beautiful.  And the skins - which were probably all made for some old versions of Poser - work perfectly in the latest DAZ Studio - in fact - they work better in DStudio than they did years ago in Poser.

    The DAZ V3 Makeup textures are the best I have ever seen.  They work beatifully in IRay.  Can't wait for the "V3 to G8 Legacy UVs" to come out.

    I feel sad that V3 was before my time. I've actually seen some really great V4 textures and wonder why some of the newer textures lack that level of detail. I feel that some of the newer texture artists (not all of course, but some) are relying too much on Iray to make things pretty - some of the newer textures are really kind of flat and lacking the great skin texture detailing that some of the older textures had.

    ...the only Gen3 figures I've used were Aiko and Maddie.

    I grab all the ones I can find that are still available and look halfway decent. Danae's in particular are incredible. I've been doing the same with V4 characters. I don't think they're going anywhere anytime soon, but I make sure to pick up my favorites just in case. This is doubly true for M4 characters. I've seen a few on clearance at Rendo and make a point to grab them before they're retired.
